Veins in my shaft bulged and sometimes hurt

Hi,

I had epididymitis and now I've been diagnosed with chronic pelvic pain last week.

But I noticed two veins on my penis bulging (one used to grow and "solidify" only during erection), and sometimes they hurt.

I'm scared there are other medical issues but everything seem fine except the test and penis pain... Could it be a side effect of the chronic pelvic pain? is it temporary? my doc told me not to worry about it... but it's weird and the pain is really annoying and distracting.
