Velvet pinky raised bumps on penile glans

Hi,

For past 6 month my penile glans became very dry and wrinkly (possibly cause of some other health condition diabetes 2 or general stress that made my general health weaker). 2 month ago I went to dermatologist who took swab test samples from glans and inside urethra which returned negative for whatever they tested it. He told me not to worry cause it is just something that irritates your glans. This was what he said and two month later still i have these bumps kinda looks like scar tissues from sex or masturbation (friction burn scars or yest infection scars something like that). I want your opinion if you have ever encountered something like this or had it yourselves thank you. By the way sex or masturbation makes it irritated more I guess kinda looks like balanitis too but since he told me it was nothing to worry about I did not continue investigation.

P.S. I used coconut oil for past few weeks and wrinkled on penis glans reduced as I am circumcised I thought some kind of natural lubrication of skin would help a problem bit.

My suggestion would be to go see another Dermatologist and establish exactly why you have the raised bumps and what you can do about this. I would also ask if there is anything they can recommend to help improve the general quality and healthiness of your penile skin.

So yes, the coconut oil is a good starting point, but like anything - if you happen to be using too much this can be problematic. With the oil, a light coating is all you need - apply this after you take a shower. Again, a light coating for masturbation also - or apply secondary amounts if you masturbate for an extended period of time.

So, the essentials are get to see a Dermatologist that can further help you with what you have going on with your penile skin.

In addition, NEVER use soap or any other form of body wash such as shower gel on your penis - clean with water only, dry with a clean dry towel that ONLY you can use.

If you update your Forum Post here after you have seen another dermatologist I can help you further in improving the general quality of your penile skin ........

Hi, I went to same dermatologist yesterday, he did not to any tests he said he was waiting if my irritation would went away or develop a bump from previous visit, straight away did cryosurgery on my penile glans. He froze every raised bump and some flat spots too. Asked me to return after two weeks, he said it is HPV. I am 29 years old is this going to be a serious problem for me? I read it leads to cancers but it is rare and mostly when old. Is there any other health complications from it? And by the way how can I improve general quality of penile skin. I think this HPV outbreak depends on general quality of health and good immune system right?

As to whether this is going to be a serious problem you would need to ask a Medical Professional to detail what the potential outcomes are - for this, you may need to see a Sexual Health specialist - if you are in the UK you could go to a GUM Clinic at one of the larger General Hospitals that you can travel to.

In terms of what you can do to improve the quality and healthiness of your penile skin this will take a great deal of time to bring about, essentially, this is learning about how to be 'skin friendly' towards your penile skin and the changes you put in place need to be for life.

Be warned, you may not see any real changes for an extended period of months, and is dependent on what has caused the irritation and poor quality of skin that you have.

So, for example, you may thing after a year - not much difference here, why bother? - damaged penile skin takes a great deal of time to bring about, and is really an ongoing process of excluding contact with as many chemical based items as you can - with the major source of problems being soap and shower gel and other forms of body wash

I will post part of one of my guides for you to consider - you can update your Forum Post here in 6 or 7 months to say how you are getting on with this ....

Penile Hygiene, Irritation & What to do

      .

.... For many males, rritation can become an accumulative issue, and almost anything in contact with the skin of the glans / head of the penis on a regular basis can cause this. Here, the most common irritant is soap, shower gel, and for someone using condoms regularly, these can also become an irritant. Most often the problem becomes evident when someone changes soap, shower gel, switches to a different brand or type of condom, or uses a different lube for sex or masturbation on the penis.

However, sometimes nothing in particular seems to have triggered the problem, in these instances you quite literally have to exclude everything from contacting the glans / head of the penis - and this includes all the things I have already mentioned, particularly soap and all forms of body wash.

Always use water only to wash the glans / head of the penis - during a shower, do not apply anything to the penis, wash everywhere else on the body first and fully rinse any cleansers from the body. Spend sometime using the running water to fully rinse the entire groin area, and in particular, the glans / head area of the penis. After washing or showering make sure the skin on the entire penis is 100% dry by using a clean dry towel that only you use.

Once you have put the good practices in place, you may not notice any difference for 5 or more months, depending on how long the source of irritation has been experienced by the skin on the glans / head - for many males, the problem is down to an accumulative effect, and even when the sources of irritation are removed, symptoms of irritation such as lumps, bumps and spots can take an extended period of months to completely fade away, of which, 6, 7 or even 8 months is not unusual.

warts dont cause cancer they are a low risk strain they cause warts thats about it and normally your body will get rid of it itself within 2 years depending on your immune system the only issue is they can reoccur once removed so u will need to keep an eye on the area and surrounding skin for any coming back u should use protection also when having sex until u know for sure they have gone i recommend u try to boost your immune system with vitamin c or a good multivitamin
