venesection in thailand

Hi all i have just been diagnosed with hemochromatosis  yesterday hospital actually have known for 16 months but did not do a follow up and forgot to inform me in the  heamotology department  of my local uk hospital    anyway im due to fly to thailand traveling in 4 weeks time for 5 months and wondered if anyone has had there venesection done there i have googled it but nothing is showing up ! all thai hospitals are private hospitals so would like to know the costs etc  and hospitals because i must go weekly hope somebody can help

    Hi Peter.I’m not sure where you’re staying but I’ve been to Pattaya International Hospital.They do it there and it’s quite cheap (about £40 with all the blood tests).If you’re staying in another resort there will likely be hospitals that do it.Ask for blood letting as they may be confused with some of the terms,although English is widely spoken.Take your passport for registration.
