Venlafaxine - 8 weeks

Posted , 4 users are following.

Hi I've posted before but now 8 weeks on VENLAFAXINE and still not great. Been on 150mg, 75mg morning and 75mg night. Was good for a week there then on Friday felt really odd again could describe as aggitated and loss of appetite. Sat cried 4 times was anxious and felt awful most of the day. TODAY I feel a little anxious but spaced out a little is this normal? Im due back to doctors this week but thinking of coming off these meds. Anyone else had this? im not increasing my dose as im tired enough on them

That sounds normal to me. You are bound to get ups and downs in your recovery, but gradually the "ups" get longer and more frequent and the "downs" get shorter and less frequent. Your doctor will be able to advise you.

Sorry Elaine your not feeling too good I had a dip about 4 weeks ago and had too increase too 225mg but unlike u they don't make me tired so I've been ok. However I'm not a doctor so I don't know about you coming off them but maybe u could try another antidepressant it's not easy us it. I'm sick too the back teeth of it I just want too be as normal as I can I wish I didn't have this illness too 😪

Your right it definitely gets you down. I'd go back too the doctor n see what they suggest. But then again it could just be a wee blip and you will be ok. Xx
