Venlafaxine extended release and headache

I have been taking 185 mg extended release tablet for nearly a year now with no problems but for the last six days have had a headache which has been isolated to the right front side of my forehead which is tender to touch. Has anyone else experienced this?

Headache is listed as a potential side effect though to go to the doctors with a headache seems a bit lame. I have no other side effects apart from feeling more tired which I know can be linked to migraine headache.
