Venlafaxine interactions

Hi. I’m a 41 yr old male in the U.K. and I’ve been on Venlafaxine 75mg for 3 yrs now and I’m fairly stable on these even though I detest taking them!

As with these drugs I’ve put on quite a bit of weight. I’m looking at losing 2 stone to make me feel better so I decided to take SlimFast. I’ve had my first 2 shakes today. My question is, has anyone taken any chemical based vitamins and found an interaction with the Venlafaxine? I have felt quite peculiar today and it reminded me when I took Berocca vitamins. The same happened. I looked into it and found that the chemically based vitamins interacted with the Venlafaxine. It’s not really changed my mood as such, I just feel as though something is reacting against the tablets. A chemical imbalance? Kind of like withdrawal I suppose. It’s very hard to explain but something doesn’t feel right. I was fine this morning and now I’m not. I don’t think it’s coincidence. Anybody experienced it??? Thanks, chris.

    I have always taken vitamins with venlafaxine and had no problems and I've had slim fast
