I have been on Venlafaxine for almost 12 years and steadily Rose to maximum dose of 225mg.. Tried to wean my self off them as the Dr thought to try something new.. This was about 2 years ago, got down to 75mg but my anger issues became intolerable.. So much so I had three car incidents... Eventually they started me on 50mg sertraline alongside 112mg Venlafaxine.. I sometimes think I need more but will discuss this at my med review. I do know I will not function properly without my medication.. But I tried x

I was sceptical, and decided to go with it, I would never have classed myself as an anxious person but had my first panic attack during an exam.. So I knew I had to try sertraline.. I ignored all of the dramatic examples listed and decided not all side effects would have my name on them.. The one piece of advice I did take was that they do take a while to take effect.. But remember the reasoning behind why We need them xx I am strong and life has given me chapters to read and maybe one write, but I could not cope without My Venlafaxine or sertraline. Good luck Michael x
