Venlor xr 75

Posted , 3 users are following.

I have been taking anti-depressants since I was 27. I'm 32 now. I have been using Mirtazopine for two years and I still felt depressed. I spoke to my doctor about it. I explained that my depression is always there and that I feel my anxiety is left untreated even though I feel that and my ADD is what contributes to my depression. I have never nor felt anxious. I also have always had a problem falling asleep. My doctor decided to give me Venlor xr 75. I take one every morning. I also take ritilan LA 20ml (I've been taking ritilan for about two years and need it to function). I have seriqual at night to sleep. He gave me Xanor 5mg for the first three weeks, until the Venlor starts working.

I was waiting patiently for the venlor to start doing it's bit. Felt a bit anxious but the Xanor helped. The Xanor is finished and I can feel the Venlor, however it's not been great. I'm going on week 4 now. I have been feeling very anxious. Jaw clenching, agitated, muscle pulling, headaches, sweating, heart pulpitations, panicky. I have had some diarrhea and also been feeling nauseous the last three days.

Do I continue? Will these side effects dissappear and the tablet start working? Or is this the tablet working... And clearly not agreeing with me at all. Is it because I have ritilan with it? Should I just contact my doctor and immediately stop taking them. I also have a work conference on the weekend and not sure how I'm going to cope.

I am not sure what to use anymore. It's so difficult to treat anxiety, depression and ADD at once and function normally.

Any advice would be helpful.

Thank you x

    Hi Angie,

I feel the same as you and have done since last year. My doctor put me on venlafaxine 150mg ir daily but this is currently making me feel worse. I have been to see a specialist and they have suggested that I change to 75mg er and 15mg of Mirtazapine. Venlafaxine has worked for me in the past but it seems to have no impact at the moment. Have you been on the same combination as me ? It’s frustrating and difficult to find the right treatment but keep seeing your GP and write down how you feel daily.

I hope you feel better soon and find the right combination that works for you

    Best wishes

    Chris
