There won't be any difference. Ven has a short half life so the XL version keeps it's effects constant over each day. It you're used to 37.5mg instant, the side effects will be the same.

Davhill is correct. Can't understand why initially you were only taking 37.5mg immediate release at night. I believe most people find that taking their one a day extended release tablet works best in mornin. If you were only taking one 37.5mg immediate releases night, and now you are taking one 75mg extended at night, the side effects should wear off. Your bad side effects are due to change, and your initial 37.5 immediate release at night being incorrect. Immediate release are taken twice a day, extended release only once a day.

With a starting dose of only 37.5 immediate release, it should have been split in half, morning and night. If it was 37.5mg extended release, then that's fine to take once a day.

Think your side effects will wear off, now you are taking extended release once a day. Side effects were probably worsened by taking initial dose of immediate release only once a day, which meant you were getting too much in one go for first 12 hours, then not enough in second 12 hours. Extended release doesn't give you that issue.

Sorry to go on about it, 75mg extended release dose at night should be fine, and any side effects will wear off. If extended release, you don't split them, take the whole daily dose in one go. You only split dose if immediate release. I believe your side effects now on 75mg Extended, are slightly made worse, as your state of mind was probably worsened by taking the old lower immediate release dose only once a day. Carry on with 75mg extended once a day, and eventually side effects should wear off.

I too changed from immediate release to extended release but taken in the morning. I felt no side effects from the change.

Yes medication is also in capsules. There should not be a problem in changing the time of day that you take them.
