Hi everybody, has anyone here ever had a Ventral Hernia. My doctor thinks that I may have one. I am due to get a CT scan in about a week. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Maria,
I have a ventral hernia. It developed after abdominal surgery for Uterine Cancer. I desperately need to have it repaired as it is getting larger and larger. My husband has been ill for many years and there has been no time for me. I would recommend you get it taken care of quickly. They do not go away on their own unfortunately. They will just continue to get larger and can cause irreversible complications at times.
Don't follow my example.... just get it done and you will be so relieved it's behind you!
All the best.
