Vericocele or Testicular cancer?

So for the past 3 weeks I've been having a dull ache in my left testicle and pelvic area. It comes and goes however it has been bugging me. My left testicle itself is larger in size and the scrotum hangs lower on the left side. The testicle itself is also a different shape to the right one.

I also have to admit Im a raging hypochondriac. Over the last 6 months I thought I had HIV, lymphoma, Heart disease, and Lupus.

The testicular issue is bugging me more however because Im a male in my mid 20's and I read that this is the period where men are most prone to get TC.

I spoke with a urologist over the phone this weekend and I told him all my symptoms. He said it 99% a vericocele as it was the left side (apparently 95% of vericocele's are on the left), and that what I told him did not make him think it was testicular cancer.  It reassured me for a while, but then I started getting curious about vericocele's and the risks they carry. While reading up on it, I read that typically with vericocele's the affected side shrinks, but in my case the left side has gotten larger.

Im going to call the urologist on Monday and book an appointment for this week.

Does anybody have any knowledge on the matter that could help me? I would really appreciate it.
