Vertical lines on nails?

hello everyone, 

I just wanted to ask if someone knows what causes vertical lines on fingertips. When I run my fingers across my fingertips they feel ridgy and not smooth like they used to be. Also my toenails are the same too, but with white lines across, making it feel rough. I suffer from extreme muscle weakness and loss of balance, so I don’t know if it’s related. 

Ive has full bloodworks all clear and take multivitamin and iron daily.

    There is nothing to worry for vertical lines on nails, most of people have them, but horizontal nail lines and black lines should be checked with a doctor.

    Agree  most people have ridges ,both myself and husband do ,black lines then need to get into see Dr .
