i had vertigo, i have gone for many many tests including an MRI. the HRT has made it a lot milder. my opinion is that it would be worse if you weren't on HRT.

I am 3 years POST and the vertigo has been going on for the last six months. Ugggg. It starts with my left ear hurting, stomach starts to feel fluttery, head pressure on back left, and then boom Vertigo spins. My eyes cant focus, and I just feel as if everything is spinning. It last 4 - 6 days, and nothing I have tried has stopped the attack or helped the symptoms. My life has to come to a stop because I can not do anything. This is one of the worse things about this whole process. No, those head positions do NOT help with anything.
Please if you have any solutions that work, please share.

I feel for you. my vertigo comes and goes. I have found that antihistamine helps. Some people like travel sickness pills. I have found that the oesteopath can help as well
as also talking about what is troubling me with a psychotherapist. i think there is an emotional (stress related) - not organic root to mine.
Really hope you do get some relief from it. it is horrible and totally derailing for one's life.
