Vertigo and tinnitus

Hello

I'm new to this forum and have been diagnosed with vertigo, it started about 4 weeks ago, along with tinnitus. Luckily I do not experience nausea, but I have started getting bad, almost sinus-like headaches, my vertigo mostly affects me when moving from standing to lying position and vice versa, does anyone else experience this and have you found anyway to improve it?

Thanks

Zoey

I have experienced the vertigo episode 2 years ago. Epley maneuver done by a professional physiotherapist helped me. I would suggest to you to find an experienced one and get a treatment.

    Good luck to you.

    HI Zoey,

?I've been battling dizziness since February and tinnitus started badly in March! I was diagnosed with viral labyrinthitis and was referred to ENT (I go next week). My dizziness isn't related to moving from lying to upright position - it's pretty constant, but it might be worth going back to your doctor to see about getting a referral in case it's something to do with your inner ear?

?Personally I have been trying to keep going so my brain can adjust to the off-balance feeling, but there are times I have to admit defeat and just sit, rest and keep still.

?As for the tinnitus... I've not found anything to help with that but I do keep the TV on to try and have some other noise in the background to distract from the constant buzzing and humming.

Hope you get some relief soon.
