Vertigo for months makes life hell

Please commit to reading this. Hey... I'm a student in HIGH SCHOOL. My future is going to rely on what I do now in school, but I have had some random vertigo thing for nearly 5 months, before school even started! So Here's what happened.

A random low front came in one day (after a few sunny days). (I DONT know if this has anything to do w/ it but...) Then, I wasn't feeling so well the night before this front. Then the next day I suddenly felt sooo nautious, a little dizzy... But not very bad. Couldn't eat or go in a car or eat much. Then my ears started to hurt a bit, pop, and I got dizzied by the day.mschool started, it became regular.mi developed SEVERE anxiety from it when I already had anxiety disorder before the condition. Basically, I can barely go anywhere anyore except for school. My life has been HELL and I've been SUICIDAL over this "vertigo or whatever" because I've tried MANY THINGS, seen 3 docs who looked in my ears and saw nothing. Tried balance excersizes, Epely maneuver, and even allergy MEDS. I had depression before this. I can't do what I used to. My head hurts, my ears hurt sometimes, my jaw hurts.... I'm about a 7 on a 1-10 scale from mild- severe dizziness... 24/7. It's like a force pulling my head in different directions. Like I said, often have ear pain and neck and jaw as well, but the dizziness is the WORST. HELP. IM WASTING MY LIFE AND I DONT KNOW WHAT THERE EVEN IS LEFT. IM SERIOUS. If anyone can give me like some MEDS or something to take or instant cures, be my guest pls. Bye i guess. P.s. Tysm if u see this

If they have checked your ears and found nothing all I can suggest is look into migraine associated vertigo aka vestibular migraine. Note that you don't have to have headaches, migraine is a state of the brain. The force pulling your head especially sounds like it. I have vestibular migraine and get a pulled to the left feeling and some ear pain. Pain in jaw, and neck can also be associated with migraine.

    Hi Lisa,

?Have you seen a doctor called a neuro-otologist?  They specialize in the inner ear and might be able to help you or at least see you and tell you your next step or a different doctor that can help you.

?I have an inner ear condition that started with a severe sinus infection.  I was fine one day and driving through Pittsburgh, the next day, my whole life changed.  My inner ear nerve was damaged by that sinus infection.  I wish I could go back to that time and never have gotten sick.

?You may need to have vestibular/balance testing done.  The doctors cannot see and inner ear problem like this by just looking into your ear with those light thingies.  They need to have you do special balance tests to check and see how it affects your balance system.  Only then will they know if it's an inner ear problem.

    I hope you feel better.

Did you ever get a VNG test done? would be worth checking to see if there is any vestibular damage. Neck and jaw pain could also contribute to the dizziness. Checking your spine by getting an xray would be worth looking into as well.
