Vertigo(?) for over 4 months...

Hey guys... So I have a vertigo/dizziness for over 4 months now and it has really been painful.
It all started in September when out of the blue I started feeling dizzy so I went to many doctors, did a lot of checkups and finally visited the ENT where I did an electronystagmograph which showed that I have a very sensible labyrinth which can cause vertigo. The thing is that I work as a security guard and it has made my life a living hell. After a while I started to get seriously anxious which cause me to have panic attacks for the first time in my life. My doctor gave me Cipralex (Escitalopram) which I have been taking for over a month now. They have helped my anxiety but not my vertigo.
The last two days my vertigo has gone worse and I seriously worry for my life... What should I do?

I've had the exact same for over 6 months I've seen an eye specialist and upgraded my glasses did help lessen symptoms the eye specialist want me to do an MRI that I believe wont show anything
The doctor says it's Positional vertigo and gave me exercises to do that I feel helped a bit its called the Brandt-Daroff exercise if your doctor hasn't told you about it look it up. anxiety is something I have suffered for years and it does intensify the vertigo and I get many panic attacks a week
Learning to live though the dizziness and constant panic is just something I had to do.
The pills I was given just made me sleep, so I wasn't able to function, I stopped taking them as I still needed to work.
It is something that will Just needs to clear up on it's own or see if there is a place near you that does the Epley maneuver.

I have struggled with this for years. I just overall did not feel "good". I was dizzy all the time unless I was in bed in the morning. It was hard for me to focus my eyes. My memory was bad, brain fog and zero motivation. I was determined to fix it. I tried numerous supplements and I think I finally figured out my issue.... Vitamin D. I never had my levels checked so I cant confirm, but I feel like night and day when I supplement with D & K. My suggestion - get your vitamin levels checked. Specifically D, Iron & the Bs. If there is not a "reason" for the issue then something in your body is off balance. I also suggest increasing water intake & limiting sugars. Look into heavy metal detox & chelation if you're open minded about natural remedies.

Hello! This sounds insanely similar to my case- My symptoms started back on Sept. 8th of this year, still going strong. I have seen Neurologist and Neurosurgeons who originally thought it to be an arachnoid cyst, turned out to allegedly not be the case, now they are trying to say it's my heart, possibly POTS as a symptom of MVP 😕 still not seeming accurate to me. My panic and anxiety got much worse last month, ended up in the ER twice thinking i was having a heart attack or stroke. The best way to describe my symptoms would be that my head feels..un-calibrated? i feel unbalanced and dizzy constantly 24/7, my blood pressure is now being affected, i will sometimes have a horrible pressure on my eyes, and a lot of headaches and migraines now.
Has anyone had any kind of update or luck with any kind of answers or tips to make this livable?

I can completely empathise with your posts, vertigo is a horrible thing, totally debilitating.
Mine started four months ago. I got out of bed to go to the bathroom, which I do every night, and just fell backwards onto the bed with everything spinning. I honestly thought I was having a stroke, absolutely terrifying. Following that I haven't felt completely well and have had some really bad days just feeling completely unstable and constantly nauseous. Recently had a couple more night time incidents of the falling back sensation - always worse at night - and for the past couple of weeks have felt terrible. Haven't been able to go to work and just don't feel confident enough to drive. Every night I am awake a few times feeling sick and quite often having to go to the bathroom for BM's. Does anyone else find it has an affect on their bowels?
I have been told to do Brandt Daroff exercises for a couple of weeks, which should sort out the problem as Dr thinks it is BPPV, albeit no sign of nystagmus . I am finding that the exercises make me feel even more unwell and really struggling with them. I can only manage twice a day, think three times would finish me off.
This horrible thing is ruining my life. Will it ever go away?

Vertigo and dizziness prevented me from walking from the kitchen to my room.
I met more than 10 doctors and none of them gave me a definitive solution without resorting to expensive treatments.
I have tried how much treatment appeared on vertigo, none with lasting results. At first they seemed to be working and after a few days everything got worse. Treatment that started treatment that was not given.
I thought I was destined to live like this for the rest of my life, until I found this system that has helped me a lot, culturecomplete com/howtocurevertigo
I carefully followed all his instructions and today I can happily say that after only 2 months I no longer have any traces of vertigo, and best of all I have a partner again, at 31 years old.
I really recommend that you get this guide, it works miracles against vertigo. After so much searching I think that she is currently the best guide to completely end vertigo and I assure you that with this you will feel much better. Take the time to read it to the end. I guarantee that you will not regret it. Luck
