I have been suffering dizziness for a lot of months now but at the same time it started same time i started having anxiety disorder so i’m confused. i use to suffer a lot of panic attacks and dizziness was one of the symptoms that was big but now i think my dizzy has gotten worse these past 2 days specifically. i remember a few months ago at doctor i aid what do you think of my dizziness he said it could be vertigo because i am very tall (5’11)and pretty skinny i guess but idk if that’s the case. here’s my symptoms

-dizziness like inside my head or something

-my eyes feel weird like they are spinning inside

-feeling off balance

- neck pain sometimes can feel stiff too

- i can’t stop starring at something like i’m starring at something but like with blurry vision  it’s weird

- i use to get nausea but not anymore i think it was my anxiety

- weird electric head feelings sometimes

and that’s kind of it and to mention i did use to crack my neck like a lot and very bad i think because i use to move it fats and crack and idk if it affected me worst now because i still did during time of my anxiety. i still have anxiety but idk about this is it vertigo or anxiety please help me. and also to mention it happens a lot mostly when i think about it hard. but please help thanks.

I would be careful just throwing out anxiety to your doctors because if you read people post here a lot of them are suffering because doctor says it's anxiety.  If you think or are worried this is a vertigo/ vestibular issue, I would make an appointment with a doctor who specializes in this area.  They will be able to separate anxiety vs. vestibular.  Some people say to see a Nuero-ontologist.  I saw an otolaryngologist.  Regular neurologist and regular ENTs don't know much about this.  Neither do regular PCP.  So if you are concerned try to make an appointment with one of those specialist.  And write down everyday your symptoms. So you don't forget.

I agree with the other post. definitely rule out an actually vertigo/vestibular problem. But all the things you’re explaining, I feel the same way. I’m actually really tall too 6’1” lol. I don’t know if that has anything to do with it though. I know being so tall,l has caused me a lot of neck pain and back pain simply from slouching and my neck always tilted down. I try to practice good posture as often and I remember and doing yoga to really stretch yourself out & to learn correct posture.

I’m also extremely anxious but I KNOW my anxiety makes my dizziness worse. They feed off of each other which sucks. But I have been to an ENT & even worked with a vestibular balance therapist. Definitely have vertigo. My surroundings feel like they are moving almost 100% of the time& when I lay down in any way, I feel like I’m the one spinning. It sucks a lot. Last night I felt horrible after painting all day, having my neck in weird positions all day & just using all my energy. My day to day consists of work and going home because most days I feel horrible even after a short 6 hour shift ): it’s taken a damper on my social life, which makes me depressed. But I’m trying to control my anxiety best I can. But it’s hard.

    Best of luck 💜
