Vertigo Symptoms?

Hi, I'm new here.

I think I might have vertigo. I've been feeling a bit dizzy (not a spinning sensation), it's kind of hard to explain, It's not really a lightheaded feeling but maybe more of an off balance sensation and a bit dizzy. My vision is weird (not normal anymore), I see alot of floaters and "after-images", when I close my eyes I see perfectly lined up dots.

When I go into stores I feel more off balance and dizzy, I feel like I'm going to fall over but I don't. I'm ALWAYS tired no matter how much sleep I get, I have NO energy, I've been having anxiety attacks ever since I started feeling this, I also get headaches, sometimes I notice my eyelids feel extremely heavy then I get a headache, i feel a vibrating feeling at the top of my head sometimes, sensitive to sound and sometimes light. I've had alot of tests done, I've had a CT Scan, I also have to go for a MRI. They didn't find anything of the CT Scan.

Do my symptoms sound like vertigo?

Why don't I experience the spinning sensation if it is vertigo?

How do doctors test for vertigo?

I've been taking a medication that I think is making me feel like this (I'm addicted to it), I've been taking it for 5-6 years and these symptoms started happening in 2013. The symptoms come and go, sometimes I feel it everyday for a month or more. I notice I feel it more when I take the medication.

Any information would be great, thanks!

Interesting about anxiety, because now I'm finding that the anxiety is almost as bad as the actual vertigo, and I sometimes wonder which comes first, no matter how much I tell myself that I have never fallen over with this so I won't fall over this time. The vertigo turns into a panic attack, which is just not like me at all, I'm normally the calm and level headed one. So I end up avoiding all possible triggers, which I know isn't good because it just increases my fear, and if it is vertigo then it's rehab to challenge the vestibular system..

I notice whenever I stand up and when I start walking I feel that feeling and I feel my heart beat faster and my palms get clammy, that's when it all sets in. So that's why I'm always sitting and lying down.. hate it. A few times I felt like I was going faint and I felt like it was getting harder to keep my eyes open (it happened a few nights ago, I went to the ER becuase it scared me so bad but they sent me home and said it wasn't an emergency).

      When will it get better?
