I take mine just before I get into bed at night, maybe try at night and see if that eases the afternoon anxiety, like I said it's still very early days, I have been on 50mg now for 33 days (nearly 5 weeks) and I still have anxiety parts of the day but it's not as bad as what it was before, but I have been told from 6 weeks on u should start feeling the most benefits and to give it 8 weeks before upping doses if still no benefit, so maybe give it a couple of weeks and u might need to up again or try taking at night and see if that benefits u, good luck and let me know how u get on x

    hi emma,

what time of day do you take your medication and are you taking it the same time every day?? this is really important to get the right levels inside you every day, gets your body in a routine and it will settle into your system better.  3 weeks is still early days, 8-10 weeks is the average time for it to settle down or at least start seeing some improvement anyway.  it is a very long process and just being patient and trying not to over analyse every single feeling your getting helps, but i know from experience, it's much easier to say it than do it. i found a hobby to take my mind off it and keep myself busy :-) i sorted through all my cupboards at home and then put everything i didn't want on ebay! that kept me occupied and i found my mind wasn't wondering and looking too much into things that way :-)

    Hi Emma,

I get real bad anxiety when it gets dark outside or it is getting dark and I have found this to be a common thing in anxiety sufferers don't overthink it too much we are all going/been through what you are you're not alone good luck smile
