Good morning Irene about four weeks ago I was in the same situation as you I didn't know whether to persevere or what to do,  it made me worse .  I was on 150 mg and then the doctor up it  to 220 which is caused havoc ! I went back to my psychiatrist he put it back to 150 mg and added some mirtzipine   and it change my life.  Talk to your doctor talk to the specialist there is help out there and remember don't ever give up .

I hope this is of help to you  and try and stay positive and have a great day 😊

Hey Irene I started on half a tablet which was 10 mg for three days and now it's 20 mg but we are all different and we all have anxiety and depression for different reasons so talk to your doctor!

I am on a high dosage of venlafaxine and 15 mg mirtazapine, and they work great for me. It can take a few weeks to get the full benefit of the meds. I hope you feel better soon.

I’ve gone down hill since I was switched onto the extended release (been on it about 4 months). I was great on the instant release, fed up with it all now. The GPs are insisting there is no difference, but there must be!

Hi, Stephanie, I finally got the IR Venlafaxine on 11th December..But because I'd overdosed on the Extended R..I decided to cut down on the IR..still feel crappy but I didn't want to risk taking full dose after being Overdosed!! I thought I should take the Ext R in same way as IR. 1 in morning 1at night.. Not the right way to take Ext R.. Meant to take full dose at same time each day.. I don't think the Ext R and IR ...are the same..either!! Now.. Chemist saying the 75mg IR tablets are Unavailable Again!! Still to investigate with other Chemists.. Fed Up !!! Hope you not feeling Really bad . I have Buzzing in my head and get bit depressed as day goes on...
