Hello all,

Iam 27 years old female. I have psoriasis and psoratic arthritis. Iam experiencing some other symptoms since 3 months.

My stomach is gurgling alot,

Iam constipated,

I see little blood in the toilet after i poo,

Crampy abdomen,

Feel pressure like need to poo,

Gassy,

Heartburn sometimes,

Weight loss and

Fatigue...

Initially all the symptoms very low. I was constipated and bleeding occasionally. Now constipation and frequency of blood in stools is increased. Blood frequency increased but not the amount of blood. Bleeding is little but everytime i poo i see that. Significantly lost my weight too.

When i went my GP she asked me to see GI. She thinks that i have IBD because I have autoimmune disease already!

Never thought of this. I thought it was only the constipationthat was causing all these symptoms. I don't know much about Chron's disease or ulcerative colitis. Are these symptoms that iam experiencing related them??? Iam little worried!

Go back to you doc or specialist and get them to do checks.  A calpractin test usually confirms Crohns and there is a lot of medication to,help.

It doesn't sound like how I feel at all, but seeing a gi will clarify.as Sheila said that calc stool test shows up gut inflammation.

bleeding can be caused by 'piles' too.

    good luck

I have similar symptoms and I have Crohns Disease, however it is more common to have diarrhea with it than constipation but that can happen as well. They were unable to diagnose me until it was so bad that I had to be hospitalized. I hope you don't have it, but if you do there are many support groups out there and it all starts at the CCFA. I wish you well.
