VERY SMALL amount of chemical gets into your eye? any problem?

Is it safe?

Sometimes when I clean with cleaning agents, washing detergents,

it is possible that a few drops of the liquid could splash into my eyes

that I could feel. As suggested by the instruction, I should rinse

my eyes and seek immediate medical attention, but I almost never do that

. In fact, if it is not done intentionally and the amount is believed to be small, is it just safe? Could it still cause damage to any part of the eye tissues if left untreated while I don't feel any symptoms?
