is it normal to have a very sore bum after a colonoscopy? It feels red raw 2 days after the procedure

As well as the procedure itself the laxatives , prep and many visits to the toilet beforehand cam make your bum sore..try some vaseline. .nothing to worry about..except if you get any bleeding which I'm sure will not happen!

Yes its normal, all that pooing to put it blunt. I was very sore and itchy I applied sudocrem and luckily I had some hydrocortizone in and it subsided. suppose its like nappy rash
