Very strange thing happened yesterday.

Hello all

So yesterday evening I was chatting to my husband while preparing dinner, all quite normal. Apparently I then got into a complete strop about something very silly, wouldn't speak to him, pushed him away when he tried to give me a hug - all in all I was a complete moo! I should say that this was completely out of character. Trouble is, I can't remember a thing about it. What on earth is going on? I know my memory is getting worse but this is scary. Can anyone relate to this? (I've only been diagnosed for a few months so still on a steep learning curve). Poor old hubby doesn't know what to make of it all.

Many thanks.

Hi Sarah, in a way I can relate. I recall how touchy I became, how so much irritated me and an almost shaking annoyance internally.

Are you getting enough sleep? Sleep is the key to help our ever depleting bodies.

For me, medications and medical doctors could not help.

After working with a functional doctor in a group online things changed for me. Our bodies through this illness become totally depleted of essential vitamins, minerals etc... All I can say, is after taking optimal and multiple supplements, I have weaned myself off all pharmaceutical medications! I eat better, I sleep better and function better and although things still can irritate, I don't react and feel so much calmer 😊

Hello Jilly, thanks so much for that. I think you are right, sleep deprivation is a big factor for me. I wake up so many times, from pain/cramp/bad dreams. (I have a lot of arthritis as well). I don't take any meds, tried Amytripty whatsit and just gave me nightmares! Am very interested in what you say re functional medicine and supplements. Would you mind sharing some more about that? I take a lot of magnesium for muscles, Vit B for nerves, Vit D for living in Wales! Evening primrose because I have taken it forever and Rosehip for general health. I don't have much appetite but still cook healthy dinners (most of the time)..

      Thanks again for your help.

      All good wishes.

I did have a similar episode a few years ago, but of course I cannot remember what they said it probably was. I was over stressed at the time, and lost approx 20 mins, but I was apparently awake. When someone spoke, my mind switched back on, and I knew who I was, but had no idea who I was with or where in the world I was. I was so afraid of looking at the person next to me in case I did not know them. It was a horrible experience at the time, but it has never happened again, fingers crossed. No alcohol or drugs were involved 😃

I do hope it is a one time experience for you.
