Very worried about female problems, feeling depressed and hopeless

For the past 4 months my period has been very light. It is dark like old blood and crumbly, not like the flowing bright red stuff I usually have. Usually I have a heavyish period for a few days and then it tapers off for the last few days. It has been consistent since I started when I was 14 (I'm 25 now). I even did a pregnancy test last month because I read blood like that could be implantation bleeding, it was negative, it was unlikely anyway as I have a copper IUD.

I'm also experiencing vaginal dryness (I can get wet but it takes a while, and isn't as much as it was before. I also have low libido when in the past I've always had a high one. I will have sex if my boyfriend iniciates it, but otherwise I just don't feel horny, and I don't masturbate when he's not there, like I used to.

Everything I've found on google suggests premature menopause. None of the other explanations fit me, I don't have an eating disorder, I'm fit but not an athlete, I don't take hormonal birth control and I'm not breastfeeding. My mum had the menopause at a normal age in her 50s, and I presume my grandmother did. But the internet says 60% of cases are idiopathic anyway, 1/1000 women under 30 have this condition and I feel like it would be just my luck to have it. One of the symptoms is even weak bones and I broke a bone in my pelvis a few months ago that the doctor said is rare in young people (however he commented saying the bone density looked fine on the xrays.)

I've dreamed my whole life of having children and I'm so so anxious about these symptoms, I can't stop crying thinking I can't have children and my boyfriend will leave me as he wants them too. I feel so depressed.

I had a kind of stressful time around 4 months ago as I had exams, however I've been through much more stressful events in my life such as relatives passing away and that never affected my cycle. Plus I've finished studying now and it hasn't gone back to normal.

I will go to the doctor tomorrow but I can't think of any other cause 😦

Also I forgot to mention I have weird discomfort most of my cycle in the lower abdomen for some reason, and also painful joints, my physiotherapist told me to go back to my doctor and ask for a blood test for this 😦

Also I had an STI test and all the results came back negative so it's not anything to do with that

This could be from stress.. I know when I'm extremely stressed my cycles aren't right.. Also, make sure your eating right and taking supplements. If your concerned about bone health, I would look into Vit D and calcium that help with bone health as you age. Have you had a full panel blood test?

      Hi, thanks for responding 😃

It could be, just really hard to accept when I'm terrified of other life changing conditions. I took a large dose of vit D a few weeks ago. Also did a blood test today, all of which was autoimmune for whatever reason, not a standard blood test. Also got a cervical sweep and vaginal swab for other bacteria not on STI tests. Doctor also said will look into an ultrasound after the results are back. Results in 2 weeks.

Doctor put me back on fluoxetine which I have taken before in the past, hopefully along with therapy this will get me in a better headspace to deal with these symptoms. Now this month's period is late, no idea what's going on.

I haven't been too bad with eating, considering when I usually am stressed my appetite is quite poor, I'll be visiting my boyfriend this week (we're long distance) which will help to regulate my eating and sleeping patterns. 😃
