Very worried ..... Symptons not good

Hi everyone, this is my first post.
for years I have been bother with bowel troubles - running to toilet, constipation , cramps etc. I am a regular with my GP and four years ago I was referred to a specialist who did the camera test and all was clear except I had diverticular diease (they explained this shouldn't affect my life).
hiwever recently I have developed different symptons - bowel movements can be pellet like, sometimes I don't have a BM fir maybe 4 days the bloating is shocking. And I have abdominal pain in my lower pelvic area. Yesterday for example I went to the bathroom in the morning had a BM, by noon another quite large one and the cramps after were horrendous, I felt like I needed to go again but couldn't, then in the evening another one. The consistency of the Bm's was strange, thin, light coloured and all wee broken up pieces.
I only ever bleed from straining too much and this is on the toilet paper small spots, the size of pin heads, but I haven't bleed in months.
i then looked up things on the internet and saw an image of a colon cancer BM which looked like mine, I am now in a big big panic. I can't go to my GP as I'm for a specialist next week to see about general surgery as they think they need to do the camera test through my belly button.
please can someone advise or am I just jumping to conclusions.
thanks for reading xx

I am recovering from a Right Hemicolectomy at the moment, where half of my bowel was removed. For several weeks my BMs were perfectly normal and clockwork regular. Suddenly they are frequent - 3-4 times a day - and desperatly urgent - I sometimes fear I won;t make it to the loo. And it too is kind of like you say - very loose, very bitty and I have blood on the tissue, but in fairness I think this is due to a previous hemiroid surgery a year ago, that it has become irritated through all of this. Our bowels can react to things in very strange ways - so do try not to worry yourself, until you are able to speeak to a professional.
Just wanted to lend you moral support - I know its tough waiting for an answer.
Keep us posted, and I am sure someone will be along with some more detailed answers for you.

yes I am just going to see what happens. My only thoughts are I had the colonospy only three years ago so I would have thought something would have shown then, most reading on bowel cancer says it take 5-10 years to form
i shall go to my GP next week after my consultants visit and take it from there.
i just had a really bad day yesterday and will not be googling any more
hope all goes well in your recovery and best wishes

Don't Google any illness. If you had bowl cancer trust me you'd be the first to know. I know your worrying but don't. The specialists know what they are doing. I once Google a headache & it was telling me I had all sorts of horrible illness. Don't be worrying. Like I said if you had any cancers cells even early stages they'd tell you. Your fine.

yes that's what I thought it is only three years since my colonoscopy and I would have thought something may have shown up then. I am only 34 so hopefully the chances are slimmer but I am hoping to get further with my consultants apt next week and get a few more tests done. I also suffer with aniexty which doesn't help too and prob upsets my stomach too.
thank you for your reassuring words xx
