Vestibular migraine for weeks - Does anyone find that overthecounter painkillers make a difference?

I have these vestibular migraines that can last for weeks (so far, thankfully, only positional) and I THINK that taking Aspirin or ibuprofen makes a difference, that it makes the symptoms milder but I´m not sure weather its a placebo effect or if its actually doing something.... any thoughts?
