Vestibular migraines

Hi, I've been feeling lightheaded and getting pains all over my body, high temp, tingly hands with pronounced veins, racing heart, couple of random skin rashes, strange vibrating feeling in very pre ise but different parts of body and really bad earache for the past year.

Had an mri and blood works, an ecg but nothings come back apart from very mild raised liver enzymes which don't concern them enough to follow up. Referred to ENT who diagnosed vestibular migraines. I've never passed out but sometimes feel like I could.

I'm wondering if anyone with vestibular migraines could tell me a bit about how theirs feel as I'm doubting the diagnosis and feel like it's being put down to that because it's can't be tested or proved. Yes some of the symptoms fit but I'm sure not all. Any help much appreciated like what you went through with diagnosis and other symptoms you have would be great.

Cheers, LS

    Do the symptoms fit Menieres?

hi Betsy, for me personally no. It is not progressive in any way and the migraine is too severe for that. I have seen various specialists none of whom have suggested it. It is now gone completely with control of my disease so I do think menieres would stay if it was that.

Hi there. Okay, I read some of the comments below. You mentioned you have fibroids. They are due to estrogen dominance. I also suffered with vestibular migraine and bio-identical progesterone did wonders for me. When we women go thru menopause, everything goes haywire. I would ask your gyn for bio-identical progesterone and see how you do. It is also great for lowering blood pressure, preventing osteoporosis and balancing out estrogen dominance. Don't let them give you more estrogen, tho. Many of the docs out there only know to prescribe estrogen which has been shown to cause breast cancer etc. Hang in there and keep trying different approaches. You will find your answer. Blessings to you.
