Vestibular Whatever?

I took mirtazapine & omeprazol like 4 months ago and got dizzy... took the omeprazol with mirtazapine only for one day... next days I noticed severe dizziness... it went for days... I stopped mirtazapine cold turkey 5 days later and took it weeks later for sleep as needed as there was some rebound insomnia later... Anyway... i noticed at somepoint that while I was walking around feeling drunk most of the time bumping into things (which I compensated for months later) I began having problems with vision and reading text... and fixation... like looking into the others persons eyes felt weird and I couldn't sustain it.. also it progressively got more and more difficult to read... like I had to read the words sideways... like they are not straight for me to read... I need to compensate in order to read... it seems like it has gotten worse and worse over the months... is this a normal thing?

At the same time I had trouble with space perception, cooking and was extremely clumsy at the beginning... also lights bother me a lot...

Can somebody tell me if this vision thing is a vestibular problem? As it is fairly significant and puts a lot of strain on my eyes not being to read straight but to kind of read the letters from the side or somethign... it's difficult to explain but it got worse and worse month after month it seems..

You never consulted a doctor during any of this?  You should probably go do that if you haven't.

You have described it very well. This is exact symptoms I have , but for 7 years. There are severe episodes and less severe episodes, but still I suffer with all you mentioned. Mine started with gastritis was taking lot of anti acid and omeperzole , then found my gallbladder was not working by HIDA scan and then recently I have developed gall stones. I can say 100% your issue is due to digestion problems. Check your gallbladder function , endoscopy and for gallstones. Also please let me know how old are you I'm 37 year old male , normal BMi..

Are you sure you have had the same symptoms, especially and mainly the problems with vision?

Mine started with taking the antidepressant & withdrawing from that... I never had such problems before

I had an LPR diagnosis before... I have an 1,6 cm gallstone but it never made me a lot of problems so therefore... I have noticed gallbladder issues become worse at the same time though the last few months.

Yes I have problem with vision too. If you cut out eating fatty/oily/protein/ fish/chicken/other meats and reduce quantity of meals taken at a time and doing moderate excercise will reduce your problem but it won't give complete relief. So far in this forum I have seen folks mentioning dizziness after gb removal, so even I doubt removal of gb is not going to help with dizziness. I guess after the gb gets gallstones, it seems fatty/oily food are unable to digest and causes inflammation/allergy which causes the dizziness. Also check your B12 with methamelonic acid, it will be definitely low.

Visual problems can be related but I would suggest you also get your eyes tested too.
