vetracular eptopic heartbeats

I had a 24hour ECG monitor and was told I had Vetracular Eptopic heartbeats. I am waiting for the GP to explain things to me but am now worried which makes it worse. the nurse said 400 were recorded in 24hours anyone know if this is to much

    Hope you're doing well and try not to worry! If your heart beats about 10,000 a day (mine is about 9,800) then 400 is only 4% burden which is not much for concern. My cardiologists and electrophysiologist tell me it would need to be 10-20% burden before they would consider doing an ablation procedure which would cauterize the area causing the irregular heartbeats. Do you mean "ventricular"? I have PVCs, Premature Ventricular Contractions and they are not life threatening.

    Let us know how your doc explains it to you.

    I have Pvcs they show up on every ecg

    and believe me ive had a lot

    my latest ecg showed that 6% of my heart beats were abnormal and they class that as no concern and your seems less than mine

    i woldnt worry, some of us are just more aware of our heart beating unfortunatly . i hope the doctor put your mind at rest
