Viagra and Tri-Mix injections don't Play Well Together

4 Months post op.  Wanted to try sex again, so decided to give tri-mix penile injections a try, because ED pills had no effect.   Started out with .2ml.  No effect.  doulbled it to .5ml with 50mg of viagra,  Nothing, no effect.  Needless to say I was very disappointed. The pharmacist said I could take up to 1ml of tri-mix.  so I did.  I also took 100mgs of viagra. " Big Mistake".

First of all the erection was amazing, had sex a long time. After a couple of hours the erection did not go away, and it started to get painful.  I knew at that point that I had developed priapism.  I went to the emergency room extremely embarrassed.

Long story short I did receive a painful resolution to to the problem  I know you are not suppose to take Viagra with Tri-Mix., but it had no effect the first time I used it. Maybe the higher dosage of viagra  was the reason. Painful lesson.

Has anyone else had an issue mixing viagra and tri-mix?  Wonder how soon after having a priapism issue can I use the tri-mix again.  Love to get some feed back.

Hi, Larryme.  I had prescriptions made out by our cardiologist for my husband's ED. I was prescribed Cialis and Viagra. But of course, to be taken separately. Hubby tried the Viagra, nothing but head ache, that head between the shoulders. Cialis gave him palpitations. I told him to give up. Better a live husband than a dead husband. I have read that penile injections, aside from being painful are to be avoided. Well, if your adventure of mixing Viagra and tri mix gave you some sex filled time, the ER visit though may have been enough to convince you it  wasn't worth it after all.
