I have vibrating in my ear sometimes. Sometimes when I have an ear infection and sometimes when there is damp in my ear from the shower.  The damp can get bacteria in it and cause an infection.  If you are concerned about your ears I would suggest you see a GP. Ask your GP surgery reception if any of the GP's have good knowledge of ENT (ear, nose and throat).  One GP at my surgery does and it mentions this on my GP surgery website.

You could ask to be referred to see an ENT consultant and they will look in your ears.  This might be the best idea for you as are concerned and it's best to get peace of mind.

The 111 non-emergency NHS number is good to speak to a nurse or doctor and they will call you back to discuss your symptoms.  This number is good for a second opinion or out of working hours concerns about your health.

It seems like you have been suffering from early stage of tinnitus, take care of yourself don't listen noisy/ loud music, avoid exposure to noisy areas.

If you still hear such kind of noise go for audiometry test, consult doctor and get proper medication at the earliest. Don't show negligence towards it and stay as much happier as you can. Don't get stressed out or depressed because it is not going to solve the problem. Eat pineapple, and pour drops of extract of tulsi leaves in your ears, if possible do bhramri pranayam.

    Hi Steph

My daughter suffers from tinitus which she has various noises in the ear due to someone screaming down her ear but I started with a knocking noise in my right ear a few days ago and read about  that it could be a deficincy in Magnesium Citrate on this forum website. I started eating Almonds, bananas and Goats Cheese and to date I have not suffered with it re-.ocurring. Maybe it is worth a try.
