Hi there. It is a flat rectangle , motorised to vibrate. You can stand on it ,sit on it etc and it vibrates your body and so tenses muscles in a more passive way than regular exercise. Google vibration trainer.

I'm no expert but I read a discussion of this elsewhere and opinions were divided. Some people's OS said it was a no as could cause the implant to loosen perhaps. Others said they could use it for limited time.  Then someone said there was research form I think Canada where they thought it was OK maybe helpful.

?Due to the doubt, I'd check with your consultant and perhaps do more research before trying. My daughter left one of these machines at out house as she cannot get it in her apartment but I am not risking it as I have had a few issues with with my TKR.

Yes I have done some online research and have the same reservations which is why I thought to ask others. My knee was cemented and it would seem that can be at risk according to some experts. The thing is my specialist may have one opinion but it may not be the same as other specialists which is the case with dental work and antibiotics. Minefield !!!  BUT it is so tempting to try a passive system as exercise is not going to well due to golfers and tennis elbow restricting my abilities with strength training - bingo arms have arrived and I have never in my life had them before !!!

My thoughts would be. If you are worried about it, don't use it.

I wouldn't even think twice, no way will I risk my new knees.
