VIN 1

hi i have for the past year been getting small open cracks/fissures on my labia minora which haven't been healing. i have had all my STDS screening which came back normal. i have seen 4 different specialist, gynaecologists, dermatologist in the last 9 months and they have all diagnosed me with linchen planus or eczema and prescribed me steroids and moisturisers to use. the treatment they prescribed did not work so i went back to my gynaecologist team and insisted for a biopsy which they refused on numerous occasions but this time i took a no for an answer and she did the biopsy. i stressed to all the clinicians i saw that my concerns of these lesions either being cancer or precancerous lesions but all of them stated that they are 100 % sure if wasn't. so last week i got my biopsy letter in the post to state that i have VIN 1 which is very mild abnormal cell changes on my vulva and that no cancer was detected. i am so upset and angry that no one took me seriously and made me to feel that it was all in my head.

please can any one that has any advice on this condition reach out to me as i don't know what to expect. my gynaecologist said they are not concerned and will review me in 6 month's. i know a lot of people with CIN but not VIN 1. There is not a lot of information on VIN 1 but they only treat VIN 3.
