VIN

Hi, just wondered if anyone else on this site has got VIN, Since having this I still have bouts of soreness', it seems to be everytime I wear knlckers, I have tried pure cotton to no avail. Any information would be appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi chinney.  Could you let me know what VIN stands for?  I've never heard of it here in Australia, and wonder if it's something we have a different name for?

      Hi, it stands for vulval intra-epithelial  neoplasia.....                                  signs and symptons.  itching & soreness in the vulva                                                                    burning or a severe tingling sensation thaT                                         become worse when passing urine.                                                        ONE OR MORE RAISED AREA of reddened, white coloured skin in the vulva.                                                              the skin having a warty appearance & pain during sex.

      Just try the VIN or Vulva Intraepithly Neoplasia. I have VIN 3, plenty of information out there...

    Try silk panties.  They require more gentle laundering than cotton, and they're more expensive, but solved my problem with good results.  You can find them on sale for around $10 pr.

    Hi, I have vin 3, due for wide local excision next month, I use moisturiser, like aqueous cream, I put in on at night and makes things but more comfortable, also wearing pants inside out so you don't have seam rubbing you,

      Hi, i have my pre op next week, to remove the pre cancerous cells, what is a wide local excision plz.

      I also dont wear any knickers now, but i have been told after everything has healed it will go back to normal.

      Hi, it is where the cells are cut away and hopefuully get clear margins, what are you having done, are you uk based?

      I have had two wide local excisionsso far next test, to see if my VIN3 is still there or now if it's cancer, and more surgery, have had two surgeries already...

    Yes I have VIN or Vulva Intraepithly Neoplasia, have had for just a little over two two years diagnosed by my GYN who is a Specialist. Started at VIN2 had surgery and now now at VIN3 had more surgery June 2017, pretty healed up, have to go back to Moffitt Cancer Ctr in December 28th and have another biopsy and if still vin3 or cancer more surgery for to start the new year 2018...
