Hi,everyone, I had open surgery 4 weeks ago for the removal of Scar endometriosis from my Caesarean site, I noticed the pain when my child about to turn to 1 year of age and it is more pain and its like swelling and mass get bigger overtime during my period.
I am currently taking Visanne as the doctors prescribe to prevent the recurrence of the endometriosis.Like the experience of other's it depends on the body respond in the medicine,

Hi my endo returned 16 years after a hystorectomy..I am starting zoladex injections to try and reduce the size if the hematoma..it's attached to my sigmoid bowel so they won't operate ...I've got 6 mths of injections.

Holy cow, amanda! I'm so sorry you're suffering with this issue! And several years after hystorectomy and the evil endo is back. I'm hoping the injections are successful and you cam avoid surgery. Did they say they could refer you to another surgeon/specialist should the medication(s) not work?

Hi
No the guy didn't full me with confidence to be honest. He said it's to difficult to operate on because of where it is..he could damage the bowel and after all I've been thru I don't want to end up with a colostomy! I have severe stomach pain currently and don't know what's causing it..also have severe pain in neck..herniated discs and back...just waiting for x-ray results..but 3 years ago it was bone on bone..so I think it's got worse. So I'm sleeping with hot water bottles and ice packs..and on morphine..had to ring in work sick today.tried to battle on but just can't today...hoping to be able to control pain with my codeine and go in tomorrow as I don't get paid when I'm off now.started new job last year..previously paid when sick. So it's a shock to be honest. I have a policy to cover sickness kicks in after 30 days...but I may need that if I need surgery on neck and or back? Feeling sorry for myself today lol.

Hi Kitty - I never took Visanne, I went from (POP and Estro) medications to injections to surgery and Visanne was never mentioned. I'm over 40 and not having children so having the hyst was a reasonable decision when the medications stopped working and my endo was being horribly painful more often. I hope the meds work for you!

Hi k51551,
My gyne prescribe for the 3 months of Visanne but I think I can't continue with this , I book an appointment to my gyne as my hair loss is not normal , during the shower ,combing hair and even in my room had a lots or loss hair. And I had brown spotting for 4 days now , I don't know if it's menstruation or side effects for taking visanne, I also experience a mood swing that I am felt irritable and easily to get angry.I am worried for the side effects to be worsen my health,
