Visible pulse in neck normal?

Hi,

so I noticed 2 months ago that I can see pulse on both side of my neck, I think I didn't have this before. I was at my doctor, she consider this a stupid question but anyway she measured my pulse and blood pressure and everything was right. She told me not to worry. I am a skinny male, 30 years. Should I be worried about this? I can feel the pulse also, especially when laying on bed. If this would be symptom of some serious heart problem (clogged artery, heart valve) what other symptoms would I feel? Right now I don't have any other symptoms, yesterday I had some serious physical work and everything fine (no shortness of breath, no chest pain, no swelling).

Thank you for answer, I am little paranoid and scared because googling, do you know maybe can anything be checked (just for any case, for a mind peace) with blood test or abdomen ultrasound? I am doing that test very soon because of my kidney stones (I test that one time in year). So if like google says that can be clooged artery would I then have high cholesterol in blood or in case of ultrasound would my liver or some other organ be changed becasue of insufficient blood or something. Sorry for my bad english.
