Visible veins in groin

Does anyone else find that the veins in their groin area are very visible ? Especially during and time leading up to your period? I had them checked by my GP but she says they are not varicose and can't be since I haven't had children. It worries me because I had varicose leg veins in the past so getting second opinion from a gynecologist in November. Can't get there sooner because of Covid. Anyone that has the same thing? Can't seem to find pictures of this online and would like some reassurance that veins this visible are 'normal' in this area.

Couldn't post both in the original post so here are the pictures. Sorry about that.

I am really worried about pelvic congestion syndrome but have no other symptoms than this. And stabbing pain once in a while that started the day I got the Mirena Iud 3 years ago.

If you've had varicose leg veins in the past they may be just enlarged veins which may turn varicose. I had varicose veins when I was a young teenager so they dont have to relate to childbirth. If you have a history of varicose veins in your family...especially Mum or Dad, this may be the answer.

You would probably need a vaginal ultrasound to diagnose pelvic congestion syndrome, but I think your symptoms would be more like IBS for this.

Well done for getting a gynaecologists opinion.
