Vision changes

Hi ladies,
Just wondering if you notice any changes in your vision during peri and after menopause, aside from the usual changes that we get as we age?
I find that, at times, my vision seems off or slightly out of focus. I find myself wanting to rub my eyes to see if that clears it up. It will be like this for one or two days and then will be ok for a week or two until it happens again. Had my eyes checked a year ago and am due again for routine check but worry that if appointment occurs while vision is off my lens prescription will be wrong.
Has anyone else noticed this?
Thanks☺

I know what you mean Becky...I notice it too when I go into different stores. I went to Sam's Club the other day and things were so much out of focus.

Yep me too i get that blurred vision, sort of out of focus, no good when your trying to read or watch your soaps lol. I also get the visual disturbance and zig zags due to migraines 🙄😏
Hope your having a good day wherever you are xx

Thanks Brenda....it's good to know this is "normal". I'm in the US. You have a good day too!

Ooh the old zig zags.
I get them, and thumping, blinding headaches, when my neck is playing up. Doc says it's not a proper migraine, but he's not the one experiencing it!
The Optician I go to (a national company) always does a thorough check and I feel sure they do a good job. I was told last time that my life-long short-sightedness was a little better - even if the reading part of my glasses were like milk bottle bottoms!
I had been experiencing fuzzy vision when watching TV. With the new perscription, I don't. Now I just need to sort my morning dry eyes.

Talk about dry eyes! Mine get so dry sometimes it feels like my eyelids are glued to my eyeballs and some mornings my eyes are literally stuck closed.. it takes a minute for them to open. I use eye drops but at times these don't even help.

I have had this occasionally...i wake up and my eyes are blurry...sometimes just one. It goes away after about an hour. I rub my eyes but it doesnt help. Its weird...like I can't focus. I have had my eyes checked too but all ok. Another peri symptom?
