Vision problems, Brain Fog, Headaches PLEASE HELP

Hello everyone,

Im not really sure what do to anymore Im hoping someone can please help me. I am a 21 year old women, and going on a year as of last week I have had the most sever symtoms every minute of everyday that have completely ruined me and are constant, i feel them everyday and I have been to so many doctors but no one can help me.

I woke up one morning in August 19th on a Sunday and my whole head felt like it was in a bad dream, I was rushed to the ER however they thought I may have just been having a panic attack however I know there are underlying issues.

It started with dizziness and a persistent brain fog, Brain fog that made it difficult walking through the super market or going outside or even talking to a friend. I took note of what the doctor in the ER said and assumed I may just have been having a strange panic attach (although i hadnt been diagnosed with anxiety in the past). My symptoms have never gone away. This "brain fog" I am talking about is a feeling of complete mental confusion, I have no memory, I cannot concentrate on anything, it feels like there's a dark blanket on my brain clouding all my thoughts. I have extreme disorientation and haziness. I feel like I'm always in a dream like state.

I am constantly dizzy and feel a pulling sensation, as if I'm ready to fall over at any moment. It feels like there's air inside my head, and I'm always very lightheaded.

Another problem I have is with my vision. I am having very blurred vision and have double vision and even sometimes tunnel vision. Every-time I try to focus on anything its like my eyes dont adjust and i just stare blankly. My perception on things has completely changed. I feel like everything looks very odd and strange and I don't have the right depth perception. It's like I'm in a horrible dream like state all the time.

I have been having headaches and head pressure as well, and having horrible pains behind my eyes. The pin starts from the back of my head close to my neck and continues up my head and the sides of my temples. My eyes hurt so bad, and it feels like knives are jabbing my eyes. My head also feels extremely heavy all the time. I get very loud tinnitus which alter between ears.

Since these symptoms came on in August 19 I have been living with extreme anxiety which has developed into depression which I have been seeing a psychologist for, I feel panicked all the time because of the symptoms and often feel like im dying. It is causing a strange sensation, where I feel like I'm not even here anymore and there's a detachment from myself and my body.

I have been to my general doctor, psychologist, osteopath, eye specialist, neurologist and nothing has helped so far.

I am losing my life, i am losing my friends, I dread leaving the house due to all of this. I feel im falling behind at work and in life. I am 21 and I dont know how much longer I can take this because I honestly just need help.

If anyone has any of the same symptoms and has been diagnosed with anything or has a story of hope in this aspect it would be greatly appreciated!

One thing comes to mind when you mentioned tunnel vision.

This was many years ago, but when |I was about your age, |I was taking birth control pills. They caused tunnel vision and had to come off them.

Is that a possibility for you?
