    Hi Louise,

the main foods that are high in B12 are oily fish, mackerel, salmon, etc.. Shellfish. Meat, liver, beef, lamb etc..plus all dairy foods, cheese, milk, eggs etc.. Some cereals are also fortified with added vitamins, so it's worth checking the packaging. Of course it depends what is causing your deficiency, in my case I can eat foods that are high in B12, but, because my digestive system has something missing, I can't absorb it from food. I need regular injections to keep my levels stable. In fact, my problem is caused by antibodies attacking the digestive process, so it is what's called an autoimmune disease. Pernicious Anaemia. You can Google lots of lists for B12-rich foods. But red meats, dark green leafy veg and egg yolks are staples. We keep geese, and their egg yolks offer a very large dose of B12!

Oops, I was actually thinking about the combination of B12 and iron, not B12 alone. But if you are B12 deficient, they provide both nutrients.
