Why do you need to take these supplements, are they not available in your diet? Are you just putting money into the coffers of the supplement suppliers? Have you been diagnosed with low iron, low vit C?

Have you had blood tests that show you NEED iron supplements? The latest opinion on fish oils is that they do not a lot - so why waste your money helping the company profits? Use the money for good food - oily fish is better than pills...

I did research, the doctor said that I should start supplementing with vitamins. Especially vitamin c. I have symptoms very often, among others, joint pain and muscles, overactive thyroid gland; decreased resistance.

Did your doctor check your vitamin C level before suggesting you take vitamin C. Did he prescribe it or just say go and buy some? Is he fobbing you off? If you take too much vitamin C you just pee it out, so you may have some very expensive urine. It may be worth asking him to check your vitamin D level though. That could cause muscle and joint pain if you are deficient.
