My gp said I need to take the tablets 20,000iu twice a day. But I am scared that it will trigger my acid reflux some other people had that experience? Has anyone tried a brand that did not trigger their acid reflux? And any advice if I should take calcium or any other vitamin with it? I have the hux 20.000iu tablets. I am currently on the candida diet and they have some sunflower and corn oil I dont know if I should take it.

When you have a question like this go ask a Pharamacist they train for years knowing about drug interaction.

Since you can't always get the amount Vit D you need from food, unless you can find the sun, not always possible in the UK, tablets is an easy option. I would much rather take a tablet and feel good than avoid it and feel miserable.

I have done alot of research you might want to look into it. If you are taking vitamin d. The better option is d3 instead of d2 x

That's what the doctor prescribed. I never had to take this before and didn't know anything about it. Also, I couldn't get it over the counter, yet it wasn't a prescription. Four pills were $9 and change. Thanks.

I have been taking 60,000 iu tablets every week for 2 months, also had an injection for 100,000 iu initially.
I haven't had any problems with the tablets..

The vit D tablets (softgels) i was taking are a local brand in India, not sure if they would be available elsewhere!
