Hello my name is Scott I am new to this group I was wondering if somebody might be able to explain to me why vitamin C comes in such a high dosage like 1000 mg win the recommended daily is only 100

Because of customer demand probably. Some people think that high dose vit C prevents or cures all sorts of things. No proof at all. If you take more vit C than you need it just gets pee'd out via the kidneys making pretty expensive pee 😉
