Vitreous Hemorrhage - Typical / Average Time to Clear Up

Posted , 1 user is following.

Hi! 8 weeks ago I had eye trauma (dog vs. human) and it caused my vitreous to detach. The detachment caused blood to enter the vitreous obscuring my vision completely. I've seen 4 doctors from the same clinic and each visit they tested my eye pressure (normal) and conducted three tests, a device that scans the retina, ultrasound, and peering into the eye through the pupil. In all visits they insist the retina is healthy and attached. But my vision is still obscured.

Each visit to the doctor is $300 out of pocket so I'm reluctant to keep going back to hear the same thing when it's quite obvious I still cannot see. So, I'm wondering if I can just ask others, non-scientific, I know how long it takes on average for me to see progress? Or, should I just go get the surgery?
