Vivity spherical power range?

I was expecting to have a Vivity IOL implanted in my near eye offset -0.75D, if possible. I heard from the surgery center today that the price was less than I was originally told. When I asked what lens was ordered, the woman told me that a premium lens was ordered in two powers: +12.0 and +12.5. I didn't think much of it until I later checked the spherical power range of the Vivity Toric which is +15.0 to +25.0D in 0.5 increments. Now I'm wondering if they ordered the Acrysof Monofocal Toric instead without telling me. I'm waiting to hear from someone who can give me the facts. My surgery is in one week. Does anyone know if the spherical power range of the Vivity Toric has been extended to include +12.0?

My contact at the eye clinic informed me that the range of spherical power for the Vivity is +10.0 to +30.0 D in 0.5 D increments. I cannot find any data sheet on line the confirms this range.

The data sheet I found showed both the non toric and toric with the same spherical range, from +15 to +30 in 0.5 steps. There is a note at the bottom of the spec sheet saying an extended range will be available later in 2021. It must be now later in 2021! The spec sheet was written in Dec 2020.

Thanks, Ron, so it does. The ordering of two Vivity IOLs, 1/2 diopter apart, begs the question which one will be implanted? Is the decision made before or after the natural lens is removed? Is this common practice?

That surprised me. I have always wondered how many lenses they have on hand when a cataract surgery is done. It is not unknown for the lens to be damaged during the insertion and location of it in the eye. Then what do they do? By then the natural lens has been destroyed. I had assumed they have a large inventory on site, but perhaps not with the specialized "premium" lenses.
.
In your case it seems that the final decision on power has not been made. Another poster here talked about the surgeon doing a final measurement of the eye at the time of the surgery. If they do that, then that is perhaps when they make the final selection of power. It would be a good question to ask.

I was told that my doctor likes to have options when her final review of the data collected at the pre-op screening is conducted prior to surgery. I understand there's a bit of magic involved in making the final lens selection to maximize the chances of hitting target. She is trying to target -0.75D in my near eye with the Vivity IOL. Time will tell how well she did,
The surgery on my left eye was done yesterday. My pupil is still dilated today, and the quality of vision in the Vivity eye is not good in near and intermediate range. Distance vision is pretty good. With my right eye uncorrected at -2.00D, I'll be living with monovision for the time being.
