Voice problems, difficulty swallowing, and fatigue

Hi there. I need some help here. I have been having problems with my voice for a while now, and it has gotten worse to the point that I have almost completely lost my voice. If I do try to talk, it is extremely painful, I get a strange choking sensation in my throat, my voice seems to not be working right, and the quality of my voice varies greatly, from somewhat normal to barely audible. I also have difficulty swallowing that is, at times, bad enough that I can barely eat or drink anything. I also have severe fatigue. Does anybody have any idea what might be wrong with me?

Lauren if this is just a week or so it may just be Laryngitis but if you mean its been getting worse after weeks or longer then you need to be seen by your doctor. It could be something very simple like acid reflux but it could be polyps, cysts or something else. Do make an appointment..even if its just a telephone appointment because of Covid. You need professional attention.
