Hello my son is 6 and has a cold and bad cough. He threw up this morning. Wondering if it's related to the coughing and mucus? I'm just worried Bc we had a stomach bug two months ago sad

Oh that's good to hear , I know it not easy to get children to take drinks but hot water with lemon either fresh or the jif lemon you can get for cooking is good for helping the coughing and helps get rid of the mucus,

I am glad he is getting better there is nothing worse than your child being unwell and you feel helpless.

      Take care

    Hello Holly,

Poor little bloke. Sometimes, the violence of the cough itself is enough to trigger vomiting. If you notice what happens to him, his stomach and abdominal muscles will contract and essentially push upwards. If he has eaten then, the contents of the stomach will be brought up too. It can happen in adults too.
