Vulva spots

I've had intense itching about 7 years ago in the same specific spot of the labia. A provider I saw one time said it may be Lichen Sclerosis and suggested using Hydrocortisone cream. I did use the cream and the itching went away. After that, I paid no mind to it but then after a couple years it started itching again so I'd put some cream on and it would be fine. Now, I'm noticing all these other symptoms popping up along with positive ANA Screen when it was negative a year ago. My dr dx me with SLE based off of symptoms and +ANA. I now see this white raised patch on the labia, more prevalent on the side that itched intensely. Does this look like LS? Or something else? I'm only 32 years old. image

    Hi Rachel,

There are several tests for Lupus and if this doc won't do them, you need to find another doc. SLE is nothing to play around with. Those little raised white places do not look like a lupus manifestation to me. You need to find out why your ANA count is high. There are several types of ANA tests, which one did he do? Just the basic ANA tells you your body has made antibodies. To what? Start with the immunoglobulin tests to see about allergies?

    Does that area hurt?
