Vulvar issues and now a patch / lump

Posted , 2 users are following.

For about a year I’ve been getting a recurrent inflamed vulva, very itchy, can be very painful. From the top to the bottom.

I’ve been to the GP as I thought it was lichen schlerosus but they’ve confirmed a couple times it’s not.

I had a smear and all was normal and she took some swabs all came back normal.

To be honest the itchiness and inflamed-ness has settled a little and it’s been more in control.

However literally overnight I noticed a lump on my labia majora. It’s tender but not painful and can be a little itchy.

I’m obviously concerned all my previous symptoms have been leading up to this and I know I’ll need to get checked but just wondered what others think?

Thanks

it looks kind of like a wart but it would be worth going back to a gynaecologist

    Ok thanks

I’m not convinced its a wart. It’s very movable but obvious - the dark dot has got bigger. Can’t quite work out if the main redness has. The area feels not much different to surrounding skin but you can see the circumference fairly clearly.

I’ve also noticed swollen tender ingriunal nodes on the same side as the patch.

I’m obviously worried about skin cancer / vulva, but I’m desperately hoping it’s an ingrown hair?!

    I’ll attach a clearer photo 😦
